As always, everything with the cottage and the hospitality is just perfect. Lots of lovely autumn walks and Diane is always a mine of local information and suggestions for places to go, places to eat and things to do. Sunday lunch at Tennants to be recommended.

We have been visiting the Dales since the start of the eighties, it never fails to deliver. Our third stay with Cottage in the Dales in three different properties all offering exceptional quality, immaculate accommodation. Diane and her team really have it nailed - the certificates on the staircase wall bear testament to that. It goes without saying - we will be back!
Another wonderful week here at Inglenook. Enjoyed the many local walks and visit to Hawes. A special thanks to Diane for her usual warm welcome, care and attention to detail. Thanks to Rachel for such a clean and immaculate cottage. Perfection all round! Look forward to our next visit next year!

As usual another wonderful week at Inglenook. The cottage as pristine as the first time we visited many years ago. A peaceful visit - just what I needed after a difficult year health wise. The weather was rather wet but still managed to get out most days if only for a short while. Thanks Diane and Andrew for your preparation and kindness when I was struggling with the way the oven worked. Promptly solved by Andrew. Thanks for a lovely stay. See you next year.
Third visit to this fantastic cottage. As always presented immaculately. Love this location & Cauldron Falls. Sunday lunch at Black Swan Leyburn was fantastic. A wonderful weekend again.
Inglenook Cottage is the loveliest cottage we have ever stayed in. Wonderful two weeks of walking in the Dales. Diane was wonderful to deal with especially as we had to postpone our holiday twice due to Australia international border restrictions (holiday originally booked for 2020). Diane was very understanding of our situation. It was certainly worth the wait. Loved our 2 week stay. The fresh bread baking was especially thoughtful touch.
Annother excellent stay at our favourite holiday cottage. Inglenook, as always, was presented in immaculate and spotless condition with Covid measures still high on the agenda. Arrangements with Diane were as usual prompt and straightforward. She has the knack of making you feel you are her only customer. There is always the offer to sort out any issues personally but frankly there is never any need - everything about Inglenook just works. Can’t wait to return next year P.S. Best meal we had was The White Lion at Cray. Lovely drive over the top and outstanding food on arrival.
