Guest Book - Inglenook Cottage
I really enjoyed staying here and going for walks around the Dales and I can not wait to come back at Easter and Abit really enjoyed the waterfall.
Another great week in the Dales. Enjoying watching salmon leaping under the bridge near the falls. Afternoon Tea at Tennants a real treat. See you in April 2021.
Fantastic weekend, slightly delayed due to Covid lockdown, but definitely worth the wait. The cottage is beautiful, a real home from home and the setting is amazing. We would love to come back. Thank you.
Wonderful break in a delightful location. Short of nothing at all. Perfect!
We have been looking forward to our holiday at Inglenook Cottage all through lockdown and it certainly hasn't disappointed. The cottage is so clean & comfortable with everything you could possibly need to make your stay amazing. The weather has been very kind to us as well and we have enjoyed days at Bolton Abbey and Thorpe Perrow as well as numerous walks & waterfalls. The Aysgarth Falls Hotel is really good for Covid restrictions & the food is excellent. Thank you Diane & Andrew for your hospitality, attention to detail and making us feel safe, also to your housekeeper and cleaning team. We hope to return asap!
A relaxing weekend: superbly equipped cottage, lovely village & above all Diane's care to ensure Civid-Safety. We hope to return soon.
Great to be back at Inglenook after a break of two years. The cottage is as comfortable as it always was and the changes made since my last visit have enhanced the facilities, something I did not think could be done. Well done Diane & Andrew. This is a wonderful place to stay and I will be back next year for sure.
Beautiful cottage with everything and more! Diane & Andrew were extremely helpful, offering recommendations for restaurants and even delivering fresh bread! The Wheatsheaf Inn was incredible for food and a kind warm little atmosphere. Overall a really remarkable stay.
A wonderful short stay. The cottage had all the amenities and the most comfortable beds. I highly recommend the Malham Cove walk. Diane & Andrew were fantastic during our stay, even bringing a pen for our son's Nintendo! The walks were breathtaking.
A lovely stay at Inglenook & wonderful opportunity to relax with the family. Thank you Diane for keeping in touch in the weeks leading up to our visit during a very difficult period. We would love to come to visit again soon.
Another fantastic stay in what we consider to be the best holiday cottage in the UK. Diane has been brilliant as usual and has gone to extraordinary lengths to make everything Covid-Safe. The usual spotless nature of Inglenook has been taken to another level and, as a couple in a risk category, we both felt very secure indeed. We've had pretty decent weather and beautiful West Burton has looked great. The pub is open (yey!) and has good social distancing measures in place. Took advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and had an excellent lunch at the Sandpiper Inn in Leyburn. Highly recommended but note the scheme only operates on a Wednesday here. Sad to be leaving but we'll be back!
Fantastic cottage & location. Many thanks for the recommendations about where to eat. The George & Dragon in Aysgarth was great, as was the pub in Newbiggin. I'd recommend walking to Aysgarth Falls & to Newbiggin, both are short & enjoyable walks.
So happy to be back after such a challenging few months. You couldn't have done more to make us welcome & completely safe. West Burton and the Dales have, as always, worked their magic - a fabulous 10 days.
Another very relaxing visit to Inglenook, this time with our daughter and new granddaughter. Thanks Diane for the exceptional presentation of the cottage. A haven in difficult times for all.
Returning to Inglenook for another resful & relaxing break is an absolute joy after the difficulties of the last few months! The comfort & cleanliness of the cottage is a constant in a changing world. Walked around Malham, Ingleborough, Thornton Rust. Many thanks Diane & Andrew. Special thanks to the cleaning team.
