Finalists in Regional Building Excellence Awards

We’ve been thrilled at being finalists and even winning regional & national tourism awards over the last few years for our cottages. But now apparently, the midas touch has extended to building awards too! ... or should we say two in this case! We would like to thank Neil Youll, our local building controls inspector, for nominating The Dairy for the North & East Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards. Amazingly we are finalists in not one but two categories - ‘best change of use of an existing building or conversion’ and ‘best inclusive building’. So we are off to the Principal Hotel in York next week on Wed 13 June for the ‘black tie’ award ceremony. The finalists are not published in advance, so we have no idea who will be there, but we are certainly looking forward to a grand night out in York. We’ll let you know more thereafter.
