Entering The Byre at the rear of the cottage through the solid oak stable door, across the Jerusalem limestone floor into the gourmet-equipped kitchen. Luxury soft-close pippy oak units topped with black granite work surfaces are stunning features of the bespoke hand-made kitchen from Grove House Furniture of Thirsk. High quality Bosch cooking appliances throughout are fit for any budding chef with the latest technology induction hob, inset oven and microwave along with the integrated fridge/freezer. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped throughout with a vast array of quality cooking utensils, ovenware, crockery and cutlery for all aspects of your catering requirements. Self-catering has never been so enjoyable!

For clearing up afterwards, a large Villeroy & Boch butler's sink with Perrin & Rowe taps, Bosch dishwasher and washer/dryer complete the setting. Cleaning products, both branded and eco-friendly, are provided with our compliments.

There are many little extras provided ... steamer for preparing those fresh vegetables you bought locally, scales for weighing all that fruit bought at the local market, kitchen roll for mopping up that little mess, cling film for saving the delicious bit of Wensleydale cheese, slow cooker for preparing your meal before venturing out for the day, rug and picnic bag containing plastic crockery/cutlery for tomorrow's outing and trays for eating dinner in front of the open fire that evening. Just like home!

Dining

The dining area seats 2 people very comfortably with leather seating around a solid oak table that can be extended to seat 4 people if needed. Guests can keep an eye on the cooking if needed, watch the TV and enjoy the view from the cart-horse window - all whilst seated at the dining table. Alternatively, why not just relax and enjoy each other's company eating a meal made from local Yorkshire Dales produce ..... yummy!
