In addition, The Dairy provides facilities for guests with mobility, hearing and visual impairments to National Accessibility Standards, if they need them. (poem) On route to The Dales our spirits lift, anticipating North Yorkshire's gifts. Beauty, peace and stunning vistas, and as always, a Happy Christmas. What a special time we've had. The weather, for a change, was never bad. Delighting in scenic walks galore, new places, old haunts, we did explore. Now it's time to say goodbye, until next Christmas, but time will fly! So as we take our leave of you, Thank you both for all you do.... with both health and happiness for 2026.

Another wonderful stay. The Dales weather was mixed with the delight of snow on the hills. But the Dales always looks spectacular. It has been lovely to start the Christmas festivities especially with the cottage looking so positive. Thank you Diane, Andrew and Rachel for keeping our special place in the Dales so perfect. We''ve really enjoyed an extended autumn break at The Dairy. A great time to visit. There was plenty to do, not withstanding the wet weather across the whole of the UK. We enjoyed days out at the races at Sedgefield and Wetherby and delicious food; Sunday lunch at the Garden Rooms at Tennants, a treat night out at the Wensleydale Heifer; and if you don't mind going a little further afield, a trip to the Crab and Lobster at Asenby near Thirsk. All 10/10. The Dairy, as usual, also 10/10. Thanks to everyone who contributes to making The Dairy our very favourite holiday destination at any time of the year.

Another fabulous stay at The Dairy (our 8th!). The warmest of welcomes, as always, from Diane & Andrew is so appreciated on our arrival at this beautiful cottage and stunning surroundings, Visited our favourite places : Harlow Carr, Thorp Perrow, Himalayan Garden - all accessible using their available Trampers. Thank you once again Diane & Andrew and we are already looking forward to our return visit!
A lovely first visit to The Dairy. Best accessible accommodation we have had. Gave Vic more independence and freedom. He said "it's as good as The Ritz" and nothing too much trouble. The ramp to help transfer into bed was so helpful and he was able to have a shower, which he can't do at home. A lovely relaxing week and great to be back in lovely Yorkshire again. So lucky with the weather too. Hope to be back in 2027!
Another fabulous week I'm spite of arriving in the middle of a gale! Thank you Diane for braving the winds and rain and coming out to greet us. Whatever the weather it is still a beautiful area and such a peaceful place to stay.
Another fabulous week. Explored a few new walks with the wheelchair/handbike from Debbie North’s book (Walks Without Stiles) and Yorkshire Dales website: (1) Settle Loop - a long & steep uphills round section and the bridal path past Stockdale Farm was too tricky (2) Castle Bolton to Carperby - great path from the car park at Bolton Castle and stunning views (3) Grimwith Reservoir - lovely walk round the reservoir with a few tricky slopes (4) Reeth Moor - a stunning walk past Old Gang Lead Mines. The climb up to Great Pinseat is worth it for the views. Only a few steep sections. Many thanks to Diane and Andrew for being fabulous and helpful hosts. The Dairy cottage is brilliat for wheelchairs!
Once again a super holiday. Fantastic blue skies and sunshine. Enjoyable visits to Raby Castle with excellent guided tour, and Bolton Castle with falconry display. Many thanks to Diane and Andrew for making this such a pleasurable visit.
Another relaxing stay. Excellent visits to Kiplin Hall, Baby Castle and Bowes Museum. The Dairy facilities make self-catering easy. Enjoyed meals out at Tennants and Street Head Inn.
Our second visit and so looked forward to our visit to this lovely cottage and area. Meet's all Ken's needs in terms of accessibility. You do a wonderful job! Some friends and son called in at different times over the week and all were impressed. We feel lucky to have found you! Two lunches at Tennants which we always enjoy! Thank you again.
Our fourth stay here and, as always, a haven of tranquility and luxury. Thank you Diane and Andrew for such a perfect blend of luxury and accessibility! So hard to find.
