Just simply a divine little cottage, every aspect quite perfect. Beautiful garden settings surrounding, with planting catering for all seasons. Thank you so much Diane & Andrew.
We are that rare species of visitor. First timers. We hadn't been here a day before we were plotting our return. The combination of the location and The Byre is a magical one. Lots to explore next time!

Our third visit to The Byre. Excellent, just gets better every time. Did some good walks, had a good meal at The Sandpiper restaurant in Leyburn. We have booked The Byre again. Thanks so much for a super stay.
What can we say about The Byre that hasn't been said! The awards over the years is a testament of Diane and Andrew's professionalism. We had an amazing week; in addition to quality accommodation we enjoyed the walks, food and all the friendly people we met. We plan to return. Continued success to Diane & Andrew.

Another wonderful stay at The Byre, everything perfect - 10/10. Our third visit and booked for next year. Thank you Diane & Andrew. We LOVE it. Would recommend the Bake-Well in Askrigg for coffee & cake and Hardbanks Barn for Wensleydale Ice Cream on the road to Hawes.

Thank you Andrew & Diane for a great break in your cottage. This is our second stay with you, the first being in The Dairy. We could not have wished for a nicer accommodation in super surroundings. We look forward to our next visit. The freshly baked bread was a real bonus.
Looking back at previous comments, I see how so many of the guests here are ‘returners’ - as we are. There is very good reason for this. This is simply one of the very best cottages one could hope to stay in. Everything so comfortable and Andrew and Diane make one feel that nothing is too much trouble. Such a treat to be back again.
