What a delight to be the first guests back in The Byre. Weather magnificent. Great walks every day. Thank you once again Diane & Andrew for all your hard work that enabled us to have a great time once again at The Byre.

What a wonderful Christmas stay in this amazing cottage. Despite the restrictions at this time, we still enjoyed every second of our stay. Diane & Andrew are the most marvellous hosts. Thank you so much. We'll be back.

A festive and relaxing few days at The Byre. Just what the doctor ordered after a turbulent year. Thank you so much Andrew & Diane for your kind hospitality & for going the extra mile to ensure safety for all guests. We enjoyed a cold & crisp walk to Aysgarth Falls & seeing the Christmas lights in Hawes. Wishing the Cottage in the Dales team a Happy Christmas & all the best for 2021.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Byre. A genuine '5 star' cottage, everything is of such a high standard and it all works! Little touches like the Bose sound system make it even better. Beautiful area, despite the weather, with so few people and yet a friendly welcome everywhere. We will return!

So lovely to have our first post lockdown holiday in The Byre. Our favourite place to stay along with Inglenook of course! The weather could have been kinder, but who cares! Thanks Diane for everything and fingers crossed we will be back in December to test out The Dairy. See you soon.

Well this was our 8th visit to The Byre and so wonderful to be here in these difficult times! As always, your warm welcome, your delightful accommodation and all the little extras you provide for your guests have made our short visit so, so special. Despite all the restrictions we had two very enjoyable shopping trips to Leyburn - thank goodness for Serendipity, Milners and Tennants! Than you both for a wonderful weekend and we look forward to seeing you again at the end of November.

We arrived in the most wonderful weather and will never forget the lovely warm welcome we received from Diane & Andrew and our first sight of the fabulous Byre and beautiful garden. Thank you so much for allowing us to have such a wonderful week in the stunning Yorkshire Dales. A week we will never forget.

Thank you so much. The cottage is gorgeous. Beautiful to the eye and very, very comfortable. Scenery is spectacular and we loved our walks. Your attention to detail is amazing!
