Another wonderful stay at The Byre. Some wonderful weather. Fantastic walking, especially Kettlewell to Arncliffe. Saw a kingfisher at Eshington Bridge & 3 roe deer near to Hubberholme. Thank you Diane & Andrew for your friendly welcome. Super cottage. Look forward to returning next year.
A beautiful, luxurious and cosy cottage in a perfect location for touring the Dales. We've had an amazing and relaxing holiday. Thank you Diane & Andrew. We hope to return again soon.
5 star as claimed and lucky with the weather, Best eating pub by a long way - Bolton Arms at Redmire. Visited 3 times. Home made chips, nothing microwaved. Also try Tennants Auction Rooms Cafe - a real experience as recommended by Diane. Great choice of hand wash etc
Having planned to be here in August, we have been lucky enough to have picked up a 2 week cancellation. What a first visit it has been. Everything faultless and Diane & Andrew could not have done more to ensure that we have an interesting and wonderful relaxing break. Now looking forward to our return in August!
Nearly last out (Feb), first to be back for a most relaxing time at The Byre. Weather could have been kinder, but we still got out and walked. Thanks Diane & Andrew for all your obvious hard work to enable our swift return to Cottage in the Dales.
Just what we needed, to top off normal life for a few days and come home to the Dales. Wonderful. x

An absolute gem of a cottage in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The Byre is a wonderful haven away from the humdrum of everyday life. Attention to detail is second to none. All the awards are very well deserved. We have had a wonderful short break and will look to return asap. Thank you xx

Great week - just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Excellent cottage with everything anyone could need - and more! Loved the shower!! Great location and many excellent walks nearby. Excellent cottage - extremely high standard. Very tastefully decorated for Christmas. Diane & Andrew are outstanding hosts. Thank you Diane for chauffeuring us to the Wensleydale Heifer on New Years Eve. Hope to return later in the year.
Not sure if I have enough space - It\'s the perfect place to catch your breath after a busy year! It\'s the perfect place for anytime of the year and for any reason. Fabulous walks, awesome scenery and stunning accommodation. The owners are the most pleasant & helpful people and deserve every bit of success after their continued hard work.
