Wow! What a lovely place to stay. We have stayed all over the country in numerous cottages - all beautiful & welcoming but this one beats them all hands down. Diane & Andrew are the best of hosts and The Byre is just superb. Thank you for a lovely stay and the Dales just keep on giving.

We've had a wonderful relaxing break in a first class cottage. We didn't want for anything (apart from being able to stay longer!!). The quality of the cottage, the views and the owners can't be beaten. So much so that we've immediately booked for next year. Thank you Diane & Andrew - looking forward to returning already.

As I sit out on the terrace and gaze up at the Dales one last time, it's with heavy reluctance we have to pack up and head home. What can you say but 'idyllic'. Thank you Diane & Andrew. Yorkshire's Gem.

I don't know how we've managed to leave it so late to discover this lovely area. The cottage has been a treat to come back to after a day out. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and all your help. Yorkshire Trike Tours was a highlight among many memories.

Had a lovely relaxing time in this most comfortable cottage. Enjoyed finding Hardraw Force and its coffee shop - for a great lunch. Also Black Sheep Brewery Tour & Cafe made an enjoyable excursion, ad did NT Fountains Abbey nr Ripon. Batteries recharged! Thank you!

A lovely, well equipped cottage in a really quiet spot. We can only agree with previous guests' comments on the standard of the accommodation and the lovely hosts. The falls at West Burton are worth the walk, but if it's been wet, we'd recommend very sturdy boots and gaiters! Leyburn & Thirsk worth a visit. Would love to return in warmer weather. Thank you.

We have had a fabulous stay at The Byre celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. It was much appreciated staying in a cottage of such a high standard, tastefully decorated and very comfortable - well worthy of its awards. The White Lion at Cray is an excellent place to eat. Thank you Diane & Andrew - you have thought of everything & to Diane for helpful advice on the business. We will be back xx
