This is a beautiful cottage with everything you need for a perfect holiday (just like a home from home). Diane and Andrew are perfect hosts, and can't do enough to help. This has been a wonderful week in one of the best cottages that we have every stayed in. We will definitely be back.

An enjoyable week in a very comfortable cottage. Diane and Andrew are very welcoming and their dining recommendations are excellent. We particularly enjoyed a superb meal at the Wensleydale Heifer Inn. We would also recommend a day at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden.
Despite the end of a heatwave, an amazing few days walking in such a special place. What you say about Diane and Andrew that has not been said before!! You can fully understand why The Byre received a national winner award from Visit England. You never felt you are in a 'holiday' cottage. Perfect. Shame we had to go home. Our second stay here. We have had a wonderful week, so many places to visit. We felt very welcome, more like friends than guests. Ate in the Street Head Inn - very good food, certainly didn't come out there hurry. More place to visit when we hopefully return next year.
