Such a beautiful place to spend New Year. Everything needed during our stay was catered for in the cottage and made us feel right at home. Clear skies and sun at this time of year meant plenty of sightseeing. Recommend using the books in the cottage to find the perfect route! Thanks for a great time.
We have had a lovely stay here. The cottage is gorgeous - it is clear that a lot of hard work and love has gone into making this a first class cottage in the dales. Diane and Andrew are such warm and hospitable people, and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. Thank you for a special Christmas here - our first one as retirees!
We don't want to go home! The Byre is simply fantastic! There are not enough superlatives to describe the quality, elegance and sheer delight of this wonderful cottage. Hosts Diane & Andrew are superb. Nothing is too much trouble, so attentive in every way. Puts other so called 5 star establishments to shame. We will definitely be back!
Wow, amazing cottage - everything has been superb. Attention to detail first class. Normally stay at Inglenook (would highly recommend too!), but this cottage is unique. Great weekend. Thanks Diane, Andrew & Pippa - your hospitality is legendary!
Excellent cottage, all the facilities lived up to & beyond our expectations. Christmas decorations made it feel like Christmas already. Diane & Andrew are the perfect hosts, both friendly and very helpful.

We have been in some lovely cottages over the years, but The Byre is definitely the best we have stayed in. Very tastefully decorated and everything is of the highest quality. Walking in the door of The Byre for our second stay immediately felt like home. The warmth of the fire, already lit, coupled with the warmth of Diane & Andrew's hospitality made for another magical visit. See you again next year!

Wonderful cottage in such a peaceful location. We had a fantastic time at the West Burton firework display, with sparklers provided by Diane (so thoughtful). Diane & Andrew are lovely hosts, with ideas for trips and places to visit. We've had a lovely mini break and I've had a memorable birthday. Thank you for making it so. x

Return trip and not disappointed. Some fabulous walks including one from Bainbridge around Semerwater - able to see both dales from the ridge - amazing. Good visits to Ilkley 'Bettys' and to Ripon on less energetic days. Great hosts and fabulous location.
A luxurious cottage with everything in it and more. Spotlessly clean with hosts who go that extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable. Lovely gesture by Diane to take us to a wine tasting & bring us back. Lovely part of the world and so much more still to explore. We have had a wonderful time & will be back.
