We have been in some lovely cottages over the years, but The Byre is definitely the best we have stayed in. Very tastefully decorated and everything is of the highest quality. Walking in the door of The Byre for our second stay immediately felt like home. The warmth of the fire, already lit, coupled with the warmth of Diane & Andrew's hospitality made for another magical visit. See you again next year!

Wonderful cottage in such a peaceful location. We had a fantastic time at the West Burton firework display, with sparklers provided by Diane (so thoughtful). Diane & Andrew are lovely hosts, with ideas for trips and places to visit. We've had a lovely mini break and I've had a memorable birthday. Thank you for making it so. x

Return trip and not disappointed. Some fabulous walks including one from Bainbridge around Semerwater - able to see both dales from the ridge - amazing. Good visits to Ilkley 'Bettys' and to Ripon on less energetic days. Great hosts and fabulous location.
A luxurious cottage with everything in it and more. Spotlessly clean with hosts who go that extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable. Lovely gesture by Diane to take us to a wine tasting & bring us back. Lovely part of the world and so much more still to explore. We have had a wonderful time & will be back.

From the moment we stepped through the door we were impressed. This has to be the 'Best Premier Cottage' we have stayed in. The attention to detail was excellent and Diane and Andrew have been superb hosts ensuring we had a great week!!
