A delightful cottage in an idyllic setting. Beautiful walks from the door. Food at The Street Head Inn fantastic and not having to drive out for an evening meal made it perfect.
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage located in a small hamlet within the Yorkshire Dales. It's rush hour when a horse and rider follow a chicken running down the street. The Byre has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday, including many useful and interesting books and maps about the Dales. We have holidayed in an excellent 'Premier Cottage' in each of the last four years, and The Byre is the best we have stayed in.

An amazing sumptuous cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed the last ten days. The area is breathtaking, wonderful walks and outstanding scenery - feeling very relaxed and recharged. Sad to be leaving but will return. Thank you Diane & Andrew for 'everything' - especially our drinks at the Street Head for our anniversary! The meals there are superb. Thank you so much.
One word - wow!! Thank you very much for such a relaxing, perfect base from which to explore this beautiful county. We didn't venture far as we didn't have to. The cottage itself is brilliant. We would love to return next year & would like the same weather please!! Thanks!

Have had a lovely, resful weekend. The cottage is perfect and after a long walk in Swaledale, was great to come back to the cottage, set the fire going and relax. Great hosts - will be back.

Excellent accommodation, best self catering we have ever stayed in! Aysgarth Falls was superb after the rain on Friday. Did some walks and the coffee, food etc at Berry's was very good.
