Guest Book - The Dairy

Our third visit to The Dairy and another wonderful holiday experienced in such a beautiful cottage surrounded by amazing views. We really appreciate all the additional equipment available making the holiday far more stress free. Had a lovely day at Newby Hall & Gardens which is very wheelchair/scooter accessible. Also recommend Sunday lunch at Tennants. Enjoyed an amazing two hour trike tour (Yorkshire Trike Tours) experiencing breathtaking scenery. My husband has MS & very poor mobility was given every assistance required to physically get on the trike to enjoy this. Thank you once again Diane & Andrew for everything you do to make a stay at The Dairy such a memorable one.

Booked our third visit in 2020 in full confidence that Diane & Andrew would have Covid rules complied with 100%. Attention to detail, not only in the cottages but the whole holiday experience is what sets our hosts as simply the best you could wish for! Did not expect the 2 day heatwave when we booked but really enjoyed the shaded garden areas which provided a welcome retreat from the sunshine! Took the opportunity to visit Tennants for the first time, which was very nice and also to Wensleydale Creamery & Mainsgill Farm Shop - lots of animals to see. Aim to return for either Nicky's 60th in 2024 or my 70th in 2025.

Absolutely fabulous week. The weather was glorious. Cottage superb. It feels like our second home. Diane & Andrew are wonderful. Thank you so much. Didn't do any cooking. Tennants & Wensleydale Heifer brilliant, thoroughly recommend them. So looking forward to October.

What can we say, we love this cottage and The Byre and we just keep coming back. Diane and Andrew are almost like family now and are always so helpful and welcoming. Will be back same time next year.

As ever, we've had a splendid stay, but missed your company day to day. So pleased you had a well earned rest, because you both are 'simply the best'! ... as always thank you for everything. Really enjoyed my first visit to the cottage. The interior is well equipped to a very high standard. Diane & Andrew are excellent and friendly hosts. Andrew went the extra mile in building a plinth at the side of the bed to ensure my wheelchair was level with the bed - many thanks!

First time at The Dairy due to a cancellation and therefore lucky enough to have completed the trilogy over the years. Each luxury cottage has its own character but the common theme is the exceptional quality of all aspects - presentation, equipment, cleanliness. Another wonderful stay, made even more perfect by beautiful weather. The Dairy never disappoints. We has another wonderful meal at the Wensleydale Heifer and delicious fish and chips from the van on Tuesday night.
