Our first visit to The Dairy and fourth time with Cottage in the Dales. We can't add to the many superlatives describing The Dairy. It is simply a wonderful place to spend time in this beautiful part of England! But what makes it truly a delight is the genuine warmth and hospitality of Diane and Andrew. They couldn't have made us any more welcome. In fact we like it so much we're coming back next September!
The Dairy provides a total experience of comfort, peace and total 5 star+ accommodation. Diane & Andrew gave us a wonderful friendly time. We will return in 2019. You have created a perfect cottage for people with disability. x

Firstly, if you are a runner ... there is a very good 6.5K run - down to the main road, turn right & down to West Burton, through, and take the left option as you go round the bend, keep going over the bridge, take the left route/track and follow the path to Thoralby, through the village and back to the road, turning right up to the Street Head pub, turn left down the lane and left to be back. Secondly - we have already booked for next year! Fabulous!

The Dales are glorious, the rain held off and we've had a brilliant few days in your wonderful accommodation. Can't wait to see you again later in the year ... and a quote for Diane ... Another excellent stay in The Dairy. From Friday night the 'Manfreds' at Tennant Garden Rooms, excellent walk on Saturday, shorter walk Sunday. Looking forward to our return in August at Inglenook.
Excellent well equipped cosy cottage in a lovely part of the country. Lots to see and do in the Dales regardless of the weather.
