Well! - what a week. A fantasy fulfilled. Sipping champagne, eating chops in front of a roaring log fire, watching it snow, snow snow, in a beautiful cottage. Thank you for looking after us. It's been a wonderful 70th birthday. Thank you for your card & present. We will be back.
A really perfect 4 night stay. The Dairy really is exceptional. All the superlatives have been used by previous guests! It really is so relaxing and comfortable - with so much space and all the home comforts at hand. We are just so relaxed! Thank you to Diane & Andrew - perfect hosts & a special thank you to Diane who made sure we got a good view of the moon & stars with her telescope - despite 3 nights of cloud but on the last night, we did experience it. Wow! The area is stunning - we did some great walks (Aysgarth to Bolton Castle circular walk; Ingleton Falls Trail; West Burton & Aysgarth circular walk) and visited Hawes, Leyburn & Richmond. We WILL be back! 10+/10 !

It would appear all the superlatives have been used previously by other guests. However, we have been re-introduced to self-catering with your exceptional attention to detail and finish within this property and your first class customer service. You deserve all the awards and accolades bestowed upon you. The Dairy is a fantastic holiday cottage. Thank you so much and we are going to book for next year immediately so we do not miss out - we cannot wait!
We had high expectations as The Dairy came highly recommended and we weren't disappointed - as everyone states exceeded all expectation. There was a warm welcome and lots of help during our stay, even more relevant due to snowy weather - we even had a daily road report (exceptional thoughtfulness). Many thanks Diane & Andrew.
As everyone says - this is a perfect cottage. So comfortable to come back to after walking in the Dales. We saw red squirrels on the squirrel trail at Snaizeholme. We enjoyed a 6 mile walk from Yockenthwaite to Cray (White Lion) and back via Hubberholme.

Our second visit to 'Cottage in the Dales'. Previously we were in The Byre and looked forward to our stay in The Dairy. What a fantastic conversion. Such high quality fittings and an exceptional 5 star holiday cottage. The weather was kinder to us this time and can recommend Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal gardens for an easy 2-3 hour walk and we found Mount Grace Priority fascinating. We look forward to our next stay at 'Cottage in the Dales'!

Living on a Canary Island, but with one of us originally from Yorkshire, we have a traditional Christmas. This year has been absolutely perfect! The Dairy is exceptional - the welcome warm, the decorations perfect and the cottage exceeded my wildest dreams. No detail has been overlooked - would recommend to anyone. Thank you!!!

I have now stayed in all 4 of Diane & Andrew's cottages and each has been more impressive than the last - something I though would be impossible! The Dairy is stunning and the accessibility features helpful to all! Had a wonderful few days rest, as always, and can't wait to be back.
