Guest Book - The Dairy

This is a truly lovely cottage and we have so appreciated all the equipment which was available for our use. The wonderful bathroom is perfect for someone with a disability and the spacious surroundings make wheelchair use so much easier. Everything is delightful. The help and support given to us by Diane and Andrew during a medical emergency meant a lot to us and showed what lovely people they are. A very big thank you!

Yet another wonderful stay at The Dairy, by far our very favourite holiday cottage. We never tire of it and always run out of time so a ready made excuse to return again soon. Highly recommend the Little Drummer Boy Tea Room in Richmond, the Bakewell in Askrigg and Corn Mill in Bainbridge and of course the fixed price lunch at the Wensleydale Heifer. The Cottage is beautiful as always and the gardens even more stunning than normal. Congratulations Diane and Andrew - don't know how you do it and thank you as always for an exceptional holiday. We can't wait to return.

Once again a lovely warm welcome. Weather wasn't as good this year but it didn't spoil our stay. Looking forward to 2024. Thank you Diane and Andrew i allowing us to stay in this idyllic place.

We never tire of The Dairy and its truly outstanding setting and hospitality. The attention to detail is beyond compare. As well as our usual haunts, we made the most of a wet afternoon by visiting the new Everyman cinema in Northallerton. A great cinema experience and tried the Cornill tea-room in Bainbridge - delicious. As always we ran out of time to do all that we planned so that's a great excuse for coming again (as if one was needed). Thank you Andrew and Diane - the contribution you make to accessible holidays can't be overstated.

We waited 2 years for our slot at The Dairy and it has more than lived up to our high expectations. We have had a wonderful holiday and nothing is too much trouble for Diane and Andrew. The cottage has an amazing specification with superb access, which extends to their lovely garden. No wonder people return time & again!

Another amazing holiday at The Dairy (our 4th) with Andrew & Diane as exceptional hosts as always. Excellent places to visit and fully accessible if wheelchair user; Harlow Car, Newby Hall Gardens, Fountains Abbey, Thorp Perrow (scooter hire / wheelchair hire available). First time on Wensleydale Railway was very accessible - very friendly, helpful staff to assist. Great trip. Highly recommend. Kipling Hall & Gardens not recommended for wheelchair user. Many thanks again.

Wonderful few days at The Dairy again. Can't wait to be back again! The Dairy is our Number 1 cottage. Great visit to Parcevall Hall Gardens - though plenty of narrow roads to get there - but worth it. Many thanks you both for making it so perfect.

(Poem) Sunny days and skies of blue, glory in nature for us to view. Varied landscapes, lush and green, majestic crags and waterfalls seen. The Dales in May are full of splendour, who could tire of Yorkshire's grandeur. The Dairy remains our perfect idyll, time may pass, but we love it still. ... another wonderful stay, thank you so much for everything as always.
