Such a lovely place to stay. Arrive stressed and leave very relaxed. The views from the terrace are lovely and the gardens so pretty. Thank you Andrew and Diane for looking after us so well. Great stay. Walks everyday. Sunshine and showers, but still most enjoyable.
So lucky to get to stay at The Dairy again - our very favourite holiday cottage. We never tire of The Dairy and the Dales. Visited all our usual haunts and tried a few news ones too. Would highly recommend Tiers and Sprinkles in Leyburn Market Place for lovely cakes and hot drinks; The Wensleydale Heifer for a special occasion; Ramsay's Fish & Chip van and The Bake-Well and Corn Mill Tea Rooms. Had a lovely evening at the village hall in West Burton for a quiz night. Thank you Diane for making the call to get us a place. Thanks to Rachel for getting The Dairy perfect for our arrival and, as always, thanks to Diane and Andrew for everything they do to provide wonderful holidays for all. Oh forgot to mention that a nip to the Brymor Ice Creamery near Jervaulx Abbey is worth it - really delicious and so many flavours to choose from and available to take away in little cartons. Kiplin Hall is a lovely day out - lovely gardens, guided tours of the house and a delicious tea room. We still have lots of recommendations to try out on our next visit thanks to all the lovely, friendly, welcoming people we meet. Diane and Andrew top of that list as always.

Have had a wonderful break to recharge and relax. The best accessible accommodation we have stayed in. Perfect in every way. We look forward to our next visit.
What a fabulous find! So good to find a beautiful cottage that is accessible (and we've done lots of searching!). Diane and Andrew have been amazing, giving advice on accessible activities. We saw Trevor McDonald at Tennants and had an excellent meal (both value and quality) beforehand. We have been out and about but also enjoyed quiet days at The Dairy. Sitting on the patio enjoying wine and coffee and the wonderful views. Thank you Yorkshire for being so warm, welcoming and comforting at a time we so desperately needed it.
A beautiful time to visit with signs of spring everywhere. We had a lovely time, as always, and the perfect mix of cosy time in front of the fire and being out and about exploring. We ran out of time again so have a few things to carry forward to our next break at The Dairy. There's always so much to do. Thanks for all you do Diane and Andrew, the perfect hosts.
Our third visit to this wonderful cottage. Out walking most days. Circular walk Askrigg, Bainbridge, Semerwater. Met a group training search dogs. This is a charity group. Very interesting work. Stone House Hotel, Hawes, Wensleydale Heifer, West Witton, Betty's Northallerton - lovely meals. Thank you Diane & Andrew for everything and making us so welcome. Already planning our next visit.
Second visit and as good as the first. Will be back again. Thanks to all at The Dairy. Keep doing a wonderful job.
Our second visit to this wonderful accessible cottage, both times in winter. Still found lots to do with cosy nights beside the log fire. We will just have to come again in summer.

Thank you very much Diane & Andrew for our first and wonderful stay at The Dairy - we are so happy that despite the Covid restrictions our third attempt succeeded since 2020. The Dairy is just the prefect place to unwind, relax and look forward to returning to after a day out in the beautiful Dales. Did a lot of shopping - loved Campbells and the Chocolate Factory at Leyburn, Black Sheep Brewery, Masham, the Creamery of course in Hawes, Mainsgill Farm Shop was excellent too, driving to Grassington (very pretty) & Bolton Abbey - and two excellent meals at the Heifer. We look forward very much to return to The Dairy in April 2026 and to The Byre next year.. You are the most welcoming host one could wish for. Have a lovely and joyful Christmas.
