Wow! An exceptional cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely trips to Bolton Abbey, Castle Bolton and walk to West Burton is delightful. Thank you Diane & Andrew - you have very high standards, so credit to you for making this a wonderful holiday home.

Lovely cottage. A super place to come to after a wet and windy day! Our (almost) 5 year old daughter loved the Forbidden Corner, Hazel Brow Farm and Big Sheep Little Cow. We had a nice time at the West Burton Fair. Berry's Farm Shop was convenient and well stocked with fresh veg, cheese, meat etc. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Thank you Diane & Andrew for a wonderful week. We love everything about ‘The Byre’ and the Street Head Inn! Our first time visiting the Yorkshire Dales. It is so beautiful and we will be back.

A beautiful cottage with absolutely everything we could possibly need. We especially enjoyed soaking in the massive bath after a long day’s walking. Swaledale is still our favourite walk but we’ll definitely come back to see if we can find a better one. We won’t find a better cottage! Thank you so much for all your attention to detail. We’ve had a wonderful break and will be back as soon as we can!
Perfect cottage with great hosts. Enjoyed a lovely week with the weather every day better than the forecast! Great food at the Street Head Inn, walking at Semerwater and Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Pen-y-Ghent is as high as it looks! Will definitely be back.
