Guest Book - The Byre

A beautiful cottage with absolutely everything we could possibly need. We especially enjoyed soaking in the massive bath after a long day’s walking. Swaledale is still our favourite walk but we’ll definitely come back to see if we can find a better one. We won’t find a better cottage! Thank you so much for all your attention to detail. We’ve had a wonderful break and will be back as soon as we can!
Returning Guests from Norwich - April 2014

Perfect cottage with great hosts. Enjoyed a lovely week with the weather every day better than the forecast! Great food at the Street Head Inn, walking at Semerwater and Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Pen-y-Ghent is as high as it looks! Will definitely be back.
Guests from Colchester, Essex - April 2014

The Byre has been a wonderful base to spend our weekend in the Dales. We had everything we could possibly need and have thoroughly enjoyed the luxury. Thank you.
Guests from Cheshire - April 2014

Lovely week at this fabulous cottage! Lots of walking, great food - would recommend the Street Head Inn down the road - huge portions, great after a big walk! Good weather too! Thanks to Diane & Andrew - you’ve thought of everything!
Guests from North Wales - April 2014

What a pity we had so much mist/fog all week, we couldn’t fully appreciate the lovely scenery, but we still enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. The Byre was pure luxury, the best we have ever stayed in.  Guests from Oxfordshire ... Very relaxing few days. Beautiful cottage & furnishings. Log fire and tea tray very welcoming after a long drive.
Guests from Northamptonshire - March 2014

Had a lovely week. Weather was very kind. Locally - Aysgarth Falls & Hardraw Force are a must. A bit further afield - Fountains Abbey is a great day out, lovely site. Cottage was a lovely retreat, very relaxing. A great holiday away from it all.
Guests from Brighton - March 2014

What Diane and Andrew have achieved unknowingly is a teleprotation/time machine. This perfectly appointed cottage will take you anywhere/anytime. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more!!!
Guests from Sunderland - March 2014

The cottage is perfect with everything you could want and the weather was also perfect - cannot believe it was March. An excellent week spent researching the area for where to move back to and a great way to spend my birthday. Many thanks for everything. A special thank you to Diane and Andrew for all your advice and making us feel so welcome. We look forward to visiting again. Judith and Mark :) :)
Guests from Denmead, Hampshire - March 2014

Very relaxing few days. Beautiful cottage & furnishings. Log fire and tea tray very welcoming after a long drive.
Guests from Oxfordshire - March 2014

Have to agree with all the positive comments. Would struggle to find anything at all to criticise, or anything missing. The weather was too wet for much of the walking that we'd planned, so we got to stay in instead!
Guests from Glossop, Derbyshire - February 2014

We’ve stayed in Inglenook in the past so had an idea of what to expect and Diane and Andrew present a wonderfully comfortable cottage full of luxuries and though. Thank you! Meal at Street Head Inn excellent and Berry Farm a great place to drop in for a butty. But muddy underfoot this week (!) but still great to walk.
Returning Guests from The Wirral - February 2014

We have stayed in many cottages over the last 15 years or so and this is very much at the top of the list. Wonderfully equipped, well thought out and so comfortable. Thank you!
Guests from Goole, East Yorkshire - February 2014

This is the cottage to stay in! Very cosy and comfortable. Nicely presented and spotlessly clean. Bed is so comfortable - can't get up in the mornings! Will return for sure.
Returning Guests from Louth, Lincolnshire - February 2014

Thank you for the tray with chocs, bread etc. Fantastic cottage - everything first class. Even in the rain, have been to Richmond, Leyburn, Hawes etc. Hope to return to this quiet and peaceful place. Thank you Jim and Carol.
Guests from Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire - February 2014

Stayed at Craggley last year and just had to come and stay at The Byre. Everything lovely - wanted for nothing. Will be back. Many thanks.
