Another relaxing break in this fantastic cottage. Looking forward to our return to 'Cottage in the Dales' in the summer. Thank you Diane & Andrew for such first class hospitality.
Our first Christmas visit, the cottage evoked the very essence of Christmas with all the lovely decorations, the tree and don't forget the cosy log burning stove. Days out walking in the Dales, it was always a lovely thought to return to our welcoming cottage in the evening. Thank you to Diane and Andrew for such excellence.
Needed a few days of rest and relaxation and our few days at The Byre did the trick. This and The Dairy are our 'Go To' places. Thanks.

We had a lovely stay in a fabulous cottage that has everything you need. Attention to detail and thoughtful touches were appreciated, as was the hospitality shown by Diane and Andrew.
Absolute bliss! Thank you all for such a wonderful cottage. Having been on a walking holiday just before coming here, this was been an oasis of luxury. My third stay at your cottages and I/we will be back. For future visitors I recommend leaving the car here and walking to Aysgarth (via Thoralby) then to West Burton and back to Newbiggin. It's such a lovely walk!
Another great stay - our third here. We didn't let Storm Debi get in the way. Had some local flooding but managed to get around (just). Got some great walks in despite the weather. Ingleton waterfalls were amazing. Went to Durham, lovely city, and York which is always a good day out. Thanks for the great cottage and see you in May 2024.
Another excellent visit. The Byre is even better than we remembers. A warm, comfortable place to come 'home' to after a cold November day out. The EVCP is brilliant, thanks

We have very much enjoyed our visit to this beautiful and well appointed cottage. The tranquility and the views are to be treasured. An excellent location for visiting a range of different Dales, whose beauty is unsurpassed.
