Another wonderful time at this amazing place. Great welcome as always from Diane and Andrew. Second time at The Byre. Got in some great walks, managed Pen-y-Ghent and a great walk from Pateley Bridge to Brigham Rocks (circular). Weather has been great for walking and only a little rain. Great days out in Harrogate, Ripon, Richmond, Grassington. Best meal at the White Lion in Cray and the Wensleydale Heifer, also the Sandpiper Inn in Leyburn. Stunning as always. We had the cottage booked for 3 years due to Covid. We finally arrived to a warm welcome and the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread. What a wonderful three weeks stay we had, apart from the inclement weather. We did everything we had planned to do in a wonderful setting and a fantastic cottage. Diane and Andrew are a wonderful and friendly couple, always there to help when needed. Thanks.

Our first visit to The Byre and hopefully not our last. We have enjoyed a fabulous week in the Yorkshire sunshine - our bikes took us on scenic routes past flower-filled meadows - stunning! The accommodation and hosts, Diane and Andrew, are outstanding and we have already recommended The Byre to friends. Favourite places were Bolton Castle (great value) and the Himalayan Sculpture Garden - at its very best in late May/early June.
