It has been so lovely to stay at The Dairy again as part of our Golden Wedding celebrations. Thank you also for the champagne! We will be back!

Fabulous! Would have written more, but we are leaving right now! Ingleborough caves - wheelchair accessible and more. Loved it all.
Guests from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire - May 2026

A fantastic second visit topped off with excellent weather. Excellent accessibility features. Diane is a wonderful host. Looking forward to my next visit.

Another fantastic stay at the cottage. Weather really good and lovely to see the new lambs amongst the stunning scenery. Had a great day at Ripon Races. Also (due to TV programme 'Yorkshire's Poshest Hotel), we booked afternoon tea at Grantley Hall! Well worth the visit, although pricey. Would definitely recommend and go again! Thank you.
Returning Guests from Coventry, West Midlands - April 2026

A lovely week, second time at The Dairy. Home from home Enjoyed some new visits (Bolton Hall - a good flat walk, Bolton Castle and Semerwater). Blessed with good weather.

We have had a lovely stay here, visiting family locally. We have thoroughly enjoyed being in this beautiful cottage where the owners seem to have thought of everything! We will be back in August!
Guests from St Alban's, Hertfordshire - April 2026

Thank you for a wonderful holiday at The Dairy. We have thoroughly enjoyed purselves, It has been lovely to seeall the signs of spring around us. We love the new additions to The Dairy - the bread slicing guide, the puzzle board and the stroller trolley (which doubles up as a handy side table for puzzle pieces). The Wensleydale Heifer was delicious as always - always worth a visit. We also enjoyed lunch at the Little Drummer Boy Tea Room in Richmond and several times at Hamilton’s in Aysgarth. The weather was good enough to justify eating ice cream, our favourite being the Wensleydale ice-creamery, just a short drive away. We head for home feeling fully refreshed and looking forward to returning soon. Many thanks Diane and Andrew - absolutely top notch as always.
Returning Guests from Upnor, Kent - March 2026

Another fabulous stay in this magical place. From the warm, wonderful welcome from Diane and Andrew, the delights of the n additions to the cottage, to the fabulous weather (sun, sun, more sun, and a snow blizzard!) The beauty of the Dales and stunning wildlife, our stay has been fabulous. We look forward to all of our future bookings. Thank you so much

Once again a fantastic stay at the Cottage in the Dales - our first time in The Dairy, and a perfect base to catch up with friends and explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Thank you Andrew and Diane for sharing your home with us and we hope you see you both soon.
Returning Guests from Edinburgh - March 2026

This is our fifth holiday at The Dairy. We visit to celebrate our anniversary. This year was really special as it was our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We have enjoyed lovely walks, meeting interesting people. We enjoy supporting local businesses. We visited Thorp Perrow Arboretum where the bird of prey displays were most interesting. Thank you Diane and Andrew so much for our welcome pack.
Returning Guests from Ormskirk, Lancashire - February 2026

Another very enjoyable stay in The Dairy. Weather not great, but it is February. Also enjoyed walking on the hills in the snow. Surroundings as lovely as ever. Thank you again Diane and Andrew.
Returning Guests from Ashbourne, Derbyshire - February 2026

Another great stay, even though the weather has not been up to much. We have enjoyed visiting our favourite places and stocking up on cheese, jam and sausages. It has been great returning to The Dairy and the huge log fire. We recommend the ‘Chippy Lunch’ at the Wensleydale Heifer, and also the Cafe and Cinema at The Station in Richmond. Thank you Diane and Andrew - everything spot on as usual. See you in July.
Returning Guests from Louth, Lincolnshire - February 2026

Thank you Diane and Andrew for your warm welcome. We have had a wonderful relaxing stay im this wonderful cottage. The weather has been wet and cold, but we have always found something to do. We always seem to book up in winter! So we have booked a week in August this year, so looking forward to that. Went to Fairfield Mill - a great place to visit on a wet day. Lovely coffee shop, on four levels, so lots to see. I bought some crafty things to take home and make up.
Returning Guests from Saltburn, North Yorkshire - February 2026

(poem) On route to The Dales our spirits lift, anticipating North Yorkshire's gifts. Beauty, peace and stunning vistas, and as always, a Happy Christmas. What a special time we've had. The weather, for a change, was never bad. Delighting in scenic walks galore, new places, old haunts, we did explore. Now it's time to say goodbye, until next Christmas, but time will fly! So as we take our leave of you, Thank you both for all you do.... with both health and happiness for 2026.
