Lovely weekend, luxurious and peaceful cottage. Visited Hawes, Bolton Castle plus Aysgarth Falls.
We absolutely loved this cottage. It was perfect in a fantastic location - and provided more than we could have expected. Everything we explored was fantastic apart from the rain and mud but this is part of the great experience. We would love to return and spend a week here sometime.
The cottage is excellent! We also very much appreciated the lift to the White Lion at Cray for a lovely evening meal. With an OS map, you can make up your own local walks as there are a myriad of paths to explore. Further afield, we walked near Marske and Langthwaite in Arkengarthdale. Also Richmond to Easy Abbey along the river is a level, but enjoyable stroll. A lovely part of the world!
Possibly the best cottage we've stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot! Everything has been though of to make a really comfortable visit. We've enjoyed some lovely local walks - particularly seeing the waterfalls in full flood - and some excellent local food. A truly beautiful part of the world. Thank you.
Such a wonderful, if wet, weekend. Inglenook as glorious as ever. Cauldron Falls were awesome after so much rain - we pitied the international cyclists. Always lovely to see Diane & Andrew. Thank you again and again!

Beautiful & well equipped cottage. Can't think of anything we didn't find here. Lovely chocolates & cheese and all the information was very welcome. Lovely shower too! Recommend Tennants - had lunch in the restaurant. Excellent! Thank you so much!

Had a lovely bank holiday weekend with 4 full days of sunny weather (for a change!). Cottage is immaculate and far bigger on the inside than the outside would suggest. Lovely fixtures and fittings and everything you could possibly want is provided (and some!). Recommend walking Malham Cover to Gordale Scar to Janet's Foss and back to Malham. Also the Ingleton Waterfall Trail is superb, followed by White Scar Cave. Food & service at the local pub is really good. Lovely host welcome from Andrew & Diane - 5* service.
A lovely cottage in a lovely village. Beautifully furnished, a warm welcome from Diane. A good location for all the things we enjoy doing. Would definitely come back as we really like West Burton.
What a beautiful cottage. Everything was perfect - very comfortable and well-equipped. Great recommendations for eating places from Diane and we enjoyed many walks including Malham Cove at her suggestion. Black Sheep Brewery, Wensleydale Creamery and Bolton Castle - all well worth a visit. Thank you for a fabulous week. We love the Dales.
Lovely comfortable stay. Lots of things supplied, games, books etc. Shame about extreme weather, but waterfall looked wonderful!
