Guest Book - Inglenook Cottage
Another wonderful visit to glorious West Burton. James Herriot called it the most beautiful village in the Dales and we agree. And when you have a property as immaculately presented as Inglenook to stay in, it's a match made in heaven. There was the usual warm and friendly welcome from Diane, who continues to provide an excellent service, having thought about every conceivable extra. We were fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the garden - the views of Pen Hill as the light changes through the day are mesmerising. We will be back!
Yet another visit to 'Cottage in the Dales', but our first to Inglenook! It is a delight and you think of absolutely everything! Thank you and thanks you also for the lift to the Heifer - the meal was amazing! Can't wit for our next visit in September! xx

Thank you Diane for a fab holiday! The cottage is wonderful and you go above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Great butchers, Home Farmer milk and Fox & Hounds very friendly and good pub grub. Wensleydale Heifer we found over-rated. Good food at Aysgarth Falls Hotel. Recommend Kiplin Hall and Middleham Castle and Richmond Castle. The weather has been fantastic and had a fabulous day at the Great Yorkshire Show - we will be back!
Lovely weather, lovely scenery, lovely cottage, thank you. Can recommend Parceval Gardens for a nice trip out. Fox & Hounds - food OK, friendly service. Wed fish & chips van lovely.
Another lovely short break. Magnificent hay meadows & wild flower walks every day. As ever, cottage is excellent in every way.
